MAGELLAN JETS PRIVATE CHARTERS APPEAL TO THE DISCERNING TRAVELER IN A DOWN ECONOMY

by jchagnon 9. January 2009 07:37

Superior Service, Flexibility, Choice & Safety Has Positioned Magellan Jets As An Attractive Option For Successful Business Travelers & Luxury-Minded Individuals.

Boston, MA Magellan Jets, a world-class private jet membership service, today announced that the company continues to demonstrate momentum providing its Private Jet Charter Membership customer base with world class service despite the current economic situation. Founder & CEO Joshua Hebert and his 10 years of experience in the industry, believes that Magellan’s focus on providing superior service, flexibility, choice and safety has positioned the firm as an attractive option for successful business travelers and luxury-minded individuals.

“Amidst a volatile economic environment and high fuel costs that have contributed to the financial uncertainties and frequent delays plaguing the commercial travel industry, business travelers are more readily opting for the convenience of on-demand charter services,” said Hebert. “With guaranteed travel with as little as 10 hours notice, in addition to concierge service and in-flight catering, Magellan’s customers are provided with the highest quality service in the Private Jet Service industry.”

Unlike many of Magellan’s competitors who opted to stray from the charter model and purchase their own jets, Magellan serves as a brokerage for third party operators and does not incur any management costs associated with maintaining, crewing and supporting the aircraft. Instead, Magellan has capitalized on the economic downturn and the underused aircraft inventories of operators to utilize the top 300 in the industry that employ only the newest and safest jets on the market.

“In addition to providing our customers with unparalleled safety options, our business model ensures that we do not have to shift any aircraft repositioning fees or fuel surcharges to the customer,” said Hebert.

Last month, the company announced the launch of the The Magellan Jets Voyager Program. The program allows customers to sign-up for a straightforward $250,000 membership, entitling them to guaranteed hourly rates, access to the uncompromising service, flexibility, and the safety of Magellan Jets’ private jet service.
