Jamaican troops captured an armed man attempting to hijack a Canadian airliner. THe man had robbed passengers and kept six crew members hostage. The hijacker was described as mentally challenged, young in his 20s and very unstable. He had demanded that the Boeing 737 be flown to cuba and the military subdued him around 7 AM EST. No one appeared to be hurt and the Jamaican and Canadian prime ministers are handling the situation now that everyone is safe.
