The financially troubled JetDirect Aviation finally has new owners after being foreclosed by Sovereign Bank. Under the new ownership, the company will operate as Wayfarer Aviation Inc. dating back to the days when Rockefeller owned it. The original Wayfarer company was regarded as the best aircraft management in the industry. Wayfarer will operate under the existing aviation service model and has been issued the 135 certificate. The company is expected to have 50-75 aircrafts available for charter. The deal was closed recently.
