Four Seasons Hotels and Spas recently traded in their lavish white bed sheets for beautiful white clouds as they debuted their latest hospitality service; a luxury Four Seasons private jet that wisps guests around the world for a whopping $119,000 a person.
The transformed Boeing 757, which accommodates only 52 guests, is designed to mimic the Four Seasons’ various world-renowned hotels, but in the air. From the company’s signature aesthetic, elegant style and 5-star hospitality service, guests can expect to feel as if they are checked in at a Four Seasons hotel once they step aboard the company’s all-black and ultra luxurious aircraft.
“In our hotels, spaces are conceived as settings for great experiences,” says Dana Kalczak, Vice President, Design, Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts. “The same is true for the Four Seasons Private Jet. Along with the core objectives of comfort and functionality – and adherence to strict aircraft safety standards – we wanted to create an exceptionally luxurious ambiance, and Champagne and caviar became our inspiration.”
With this aircraft, forget the mini-bars, boxed meals and plastic utensils. On this first-of-its-kind private jet, Four Seasons’ executive chef will be on-board serving specialty menu items with fine serving plates, real silverware and linen napkins.
Along with all-inclusive fine dining and a professional chef on-board, the Four Seasons private jet will also include a trained flight crew, concierge and a services manager to assist guests with planning itineraries, ground transportation and more.
Patricia Davidson, a guest on the Four Seasons’ private jet, told Bloomberg Business News that the guest service on-board was nothing different than the service one would receive at any Four Seasons Hotel, and her trip around the world was made easy because of the accommodating flight crew.
“Visas, insurance, and itineraries were all organized with swift precision. No request went unanswered-and they were kind, respectful and playful.”
What are even more fabulous about the Four Seasons’ private jet are the all white Italian leather seats, which are designed by Iacobucci, a famous Italian craftsman. They fully recline at a touch of a button and are equipped with dark shellacked wood tray tables for when it’s mealtime.
And just how Four Seasons’ hotels provide guests with high-end goodies in each room, flyers on this private jet can expect to receive Bvlgari toiletry kits, cashmere blankets, Bose noise-canceling headphones, and custom-made leather travel journals and pens by Moleskin on their seats. They will also receive an iPad Air 2 prior to the trip, so they can download the entertainment they’d like to have on the flight.
The Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts have definitely taken their hospitality service to the next level… or shall we say, the sky.
