Many travelers fail to take into account the leap in time zones and the toll it can take on your body’s internal clock. Here are some tips to help you avoid jet lag and enjoy your time once you’ve stepped off your private jet: Charter a Private Jet-
Of course the first step to help avoid jet lag is to fly on a private plane. Unlike commercial airline travel, private jets allow passengers to consume food on the time zone of their destination. Having fresh air in your cabin will allow for better sleep and all around better experience. Avoid Alcohol-
Stay hydrated throughout the flight by drinking plenty of water and avoiding caffeine and alcohol, which can disrupt sleeping schedules and further dehydrate your body. Dehydration can intensify the effects of jet lag.
Set Your Watch to Local Time-
As soon as the cabin doors shut, you should set your watch to local time of your destination. It is very important to internalize the time and regardless of what time it is where you are, focus on what time it is where you are going and live according to that time. (Example- if it is 1am where you are going – sleep, if its 1 pm work, watch tv, read) Private aircraft are equipped with reclining, spacious seats; depending on aircraft type, many have staterooms and queen beds. Giving you the ability to comfortably rest your eyes if the time zone calls for it.
Always Bring Something Comfortable to Wear-
Some tracksuit pants, sport socks, anything that looks like pajamas. You can always change on the plane right before you land. Avoidwearing anything that will cut off your circulation. Luckily on a private aircraft you have the ability to move around and even do some yoga moves! That will also help keep your blood flowing.
