Magellan Jets has been providing the smartest and most personalized jet solutions in the private aviation industry for over a decade.
As Aircraft Sales Manager you’re responsible for prospecting and closing new business. You must be dynamic, goal oriented, and a self-sourcing expert. As ASM, you demonstrate the ability to understand client needs and provide solutions through Magellan Jets’ Preferred Network of products.
This career is for the individual who is entrepreneurial and thrives in an environment of building new business and following deals through the entire sales and service delivery cycle. Daily activities include planning territory development, presentations, RFP execution, building prospect lists, mining CRM data, prospect calling and closing new clients/business. To further build and maintain a healthy pipeline, your activities will also include networking events, client meetings, prospect/influencer greets and must be viewed as the industry subject matter leader.
Responsibilities
- Proactively identify and segment prospects to generate leads
- Be an expert in MJ’s global aviation management solutions-operation and maintenance services and more!
- Educate and advise prospective clients on aircraft management services
- Preparation and presentation of sales materials to prospects and clients
- Client contract negotiation and execution
- Execute Magellan Jets’ sales process from lead generation through close
- Reporting on sales efforts and results
- Meet or exceed sales targets
- Assist in marketing strategy/efforts to expand sales funnel
- Represent Magellan Jets at industry events
- Promote Magellan Jets’ brand and core values
- Travel to in-person prospect and client meetings
- Maintain client relationships through regular check-ins
Qualifications
- Must be intrinsically motivated
- Demonstrated experience in selling long-close-cycle product
- 10-15 years’ experience in sales related function, selling to ultra-high-net-worth individuals and corporations
- 5+ years' experience in aviation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Salesforce or other CRM proficiency
