Overview:

Magellan Jets has been providing the smartest and most personalized jet solutions in the private aviation industry for over a decade.

Now, we are looking for a Information Technology Specialist to join our team! As Information Technology Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring a seamless network and help desk experience for Magellan Jets employees. With an in-person Flight Support team and 24/7 client services, it is crucial that network and help desk issues are prioritized and resolved in real time.

Responsibilities:

  • Building and maintaining local networks
  • Setting up and maintaining firewalls, network switches and routers
  • Efficiency of network and network performance in all Magellan Jets locations
  • Leading strategy around hardware and software acquisition, deployment, and maintenance
  • Implementing a hardware refresh plan to minimize downtime within the organization
  • Monitoring MJ’s help desk and assisting colleagues with hardware and software troubleshooting while performing daily tasks
  • Assisting the Director of Technology with security monitoring and security training
  • Sustaining network certifications and SOC 2 Level II compliance status
  • Progressing tele-presence for in-person and remote employees
  • Assisting Director of Technology with projects and daily tasks

Qualifications:

  • Strong knowledge of Office 365 admin centers, Microsoft Azure, Active Directory and conditional access policies
  • Working knowledge of Salesforce.com
  • Proficient in troubleshooting Mac OS and Windows, use of MDM solutions such as Intune, JAMF, Mosyle
  • 1+ year(s) of helpdesk experience

Magellan Jets (the Air Charter Broker) acting as an “Authorized Agent” for the Program Member (Charterer) shall; maintain non-owned aircraft liability insurance, and personal injury coverage, contract for transportation services with only FAR Part 135 or 121 Direct Air Carriers or their foreign Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) equivalent that operate and exercise full operational control over those flights at all times. Magellan Jets does not own or operate aircraft nor is a direct or indirect carrier. Flights will be sourced through a proprietary Magellan Jets Preferred Network of Direct Air Carriers that meet all FAA or CAA safety standards and additional safety standards established by Magellan Jets.Magellan Jets does provide access to aircraft management services which are provided by FAR Part 135 and 91 Direct Carriers or their foreign Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) equivalent that manage the full or partial operation of the aircraft on behalf of the Owner (Aircraft owner) and exercise full operational control of all flights at all times.
