JOB REQUIREMENTS:
– 3+ Years working as a Full Stack Developer (Angular, React JS/Native, REST APIs, Postgres, AWS/Heroku)
– Experience taking user stories from creation to deployment and owning the results
– Experience working in an Agile environment
– Experience with TDD
– Ability to work in a small team to achieve great things
– Start-up experience is a plus
POSITION OVERVIEW*
Reporting to the Director of Technology, you play a vital role in the organizational growth. The role is based on adding new features to existing applications, as well as building new applications from the ground up. You will be responsible for not only gathering some detailed requirements for user stories, but also thinking outside of the box to come up with creative solutions to fit the needs of the organization. This includes anticipating needs of internal and external clients may have create an amazing experience. Your skill set will help create new digital products in the private aviation space.
Responsibilities
As a leader in your field you will help continue to shape the architecture and future of existing products as well as new products on the roadmap for this year and next.
- Meet with clients to determine business, functional and technical requirements and participate in application design, configuration, testing and deployment.
- Willing to be hands-on in producing tangible deliverables (requirements specifications, design deliverables, status reports, project plans)
- Utilize best practices to perform operational support, enhancements, bug fixes as needed to the platform(s)
- Follow all standard operating procedures (SOP) and maintain updated ticketing for events, incidents, requests, changes, problems, etc.
- Proactively engage on continuous improvement efforts for application design, support, and practice development efforts.
- Provide technical assistance and end user troubleshooting for bug fixes, enhancements, and “how-to” assistance.
- Act as a point of contact for Service Desk and NOC ticketing for issue resolution.
Skills
- Excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills.
- A desire to work within a fast-paced, start-up, collaborative, and team-based environment.
- Working knowledge and experience with complex business systems integration as well as object-oriented design patterns and development.
- Experience in core web technologies including HTML5, Javascript, jQuery, RESTful API's, and XML
- Software engineering skills with several technologies JavaScript, MEAN, React .JS/Native, Postgres, Angular, and XML
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and ETL tools
- Experience with Agile development methodologies such as XP/SCRUM
- Experience with web services (REST & SOAP, JSON & XML, etc.)
- A desire to work with the latest tools, technologies, and methodologies
- Candidates must be eligible to work in the United States without limitation
