Aston Martin has just released the concept of the Volante Vision, a lavish, sleek and sexy car for the skies. The Volante Vision would utilize vertical takeoff and landing (VTOL) technology so it can land you anywhere at anytime. It would have hybrid-electric power and be capable of autonomous flight.
“With the population in urban areas continuing to grow, congestion in towns and cities will become increasingly demanding,” said Dr. Andy Palmer, CEO of Aston Martin.
The Volante Vision would feature drone like structure and the most modern and luxurious interior that you could expect from any Aston Martin vehicle. This “flying car” could hit speeds up to 200 mph and would be fit for James Bond himself. Aston Martin created the Volante Vision Concept in partnership with Cranfield University, Cranfield Aerospace Solutions and Rolls-Royce.
