For the past five years the Putts and Punches for Parkinson’s Tournament has helped raise money for organizations supporting the fight against Parkinson’s Disease, including The Shawn Thornton Foundation, The Boston Bruins Foundation, and the American Parkinson Disease Association.

Joshua Hebert, CEO of Magellan Jets, Bikes 50 Miles for Charity

Joshua Hebert, the CEO of Magellan Jets, will be biking 50 miles this upcoming Saturday in The Rodman Ride for Kids. The Rodman Ride For Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride’s mission it to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live. The Ride serves as a catalyst by providing child welfare agencies an opportunity to raise funds through this event. The Ride For Kids and its benefiting agencies fundraise year-round, culminating with the Ride event, when 1,500 cyclists participate in a 25, 50, or 100-mile non-competitive cycling tour on October 1, 2011. 100% of the expenses associated with the Ride are underwritten.

BOSTON, MA. – February 15, 2011 – On Monday, February 14, 2011, private jet company, Magellan Jets proudly sponsored the 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament to Benefit Wing and a Prayer Foundation. The tournament took place at Isleworth Golf and Country Club, located in Windermere, FL. Preceding the tournament, Wing and a Prayer held a Gala Dinner event at Isleworth on Sunday, February 13. The Gala began with a meet and greet followed by a cocktail hour. After this, guests enjoyed a wonderful meal which was accompanied by a presentation on the Foundation.

Magellan Jets Thanks Everyone who Attended the 2010 Beckett Bowl

It was a fun night full of excitement and prizes (and a little bit of bowling too). We would like to personally congratulate the winner of The Ultimate Private Jet Experience in the live auction, provided by Magellan Jets. The winner will be whisked away in a luxurious private jet to New York and experience the Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry from Josh Beckett’s personal seats. The Josh Beckett Foundation was able to raise well over $500,000 last night with the help and support of everyone who came out, with all proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital Boston.
