The Magellan Jets annual summer party this year was celebrated at the Boston Winery in Dorchester, MA. Our crew was treated to the unique experience of wine-making…and of course, tasting too! We came together as a team to make, drink, share and experience the journey of wine. After our hard work on the assembly line, bottling/ corking/sealing our wine, we were treated to a full sit down dinner inside the winery. Food was supplied by the local restaurant right next door, Venezia Restaurant.
I believe I can speak for the whole team when I say this was an AWESOME summer event. Below are some pictures captured throughout our evening. Enjoy!

On November 18, a flash mob of local entrepreneurs stormed Kendall Square in Cambridge, MA declaring “We are the jobs”. Leading private charter broker Magellan Jets was one of the companies participating; calling attention to their role in job creation. These small, expanding businesses are seeing success in high employment numbers, where major corporations are failing. This event was part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, which was hosted by the Entrepreneurs Organization, a worldwide network of 8,000 business owners. Joshua Hebert, CEO of Magellan Jets, and Anthony Tivnan, President of Magellan Jets, are members of E.O. They value their memberships because of the education they receive when attending the organizations’ forums and events.
On the evening of Tuesday, September 20th, Style Boston held “It Takes 2”, their two year anniversary party. The soiree was at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston. Representing Magellan Jets, Joshua Hebert (CEO), Anthony Tivnan (President) and Tanzer Kanlier were present. The party boasted delicious food featuring chefs Susur Lee, Michael Ginor, Gordon Hamersley, Marc Orfaly, Rodney Murillo, Raymond Ost and Rachel Klein. Beverages were provided by Svedka, Ruffino Prosecco and Hint Water, to name a few. The Back Bay’s hot spot Davios had a strong presence, supplying the crowd with samplings from their five star menu. For those with a sweet tooth, desert was concocted by Finale chef Karen Hodsdon, Ben & Jerry’s and PureFections. Guests were kept entertained all night long. From Audi’s selection of their latest models on display, to the incredible music, “It Takes 2” was a success. CEO of Magellan Jets, Joshua Hebert commented, “The Style Boston anniversary event most definitely falls into the top 10 events Boston has to offer every year. It is a party I thoroughly enjoyed attending, as did everyone from Magellan Jets.”
Joshua Hebert, the CEO of Magellan Jets, will be biking 50 miles this upcoming Saturday in The Rodman Ride for Kids. The Rodman Ride For Kids is an umbrella matching gift charity raising funds for youth-focused social service agencies that support at-risk children in Massachusetts. The Ride’s mission it to have every child in our community live as we would want our own children to live. The Ride serves as a catalyst by providing child welfare agencies an opportunity to raise funds through this event. The Ride For Kids and its benefiting agencies fundraise year-round, culminating with the Ride event, when 1,500 cyclists participate in a 25, 50, or 100-mile non-competitive cycling tour on October 1, 2011. 100% of the expenses associated with the Ride are underwritten.

Magellan Jets would like to thank everyone who came out last night to support The Josh Beckett Foundation at the 2010 Beckett Bowl. It was a fun night full of excitement and prizes (and a little bit of bowling too). We would like to personally congratulate the winner of The Ultimate Private Jet Experience in the live auction, provided by Magellan Jets. The winner will be whisked away in a luxurious private jet to New York and experience the Red Sox vs. Yankees rivalry from Josh Beckett’s personal seats. The Josh Beckett Foundation was able to raise well over $500,000 last night with the help and support of everyone who came out, with all proceeds benefitting Children’s Hospital Boston. Make sure to visit The Josh Beckett Foundation to read about the foundation, the event, the children, and to make additional contributions.
