The Daytona 500 is the largest race of any NASCAR season, but the 2013 version of this Great American Race held on February 24th will be crucial to the future success of many of the sport’s top drivers. Regarded as the most prestigious race on the NASCAR calendar, the Daytona 500 occupies the attention of nearly 200,000 screaming fans. The race has the highest U.S. television rating for any auto race of the year, exceeding the traditional leader, the Indianapolis 500.
