With the Fourth of July right around the corner, it’s time to grab your red white and blue, light up the grill and crack a cold one. There are tons of places for you to celebrate this fourth, but here are 5 destinations you should definitely travel to this upcoming Wednesday!

1) Boston, Massachusetts

Can you really get any more patriotic than Boston Massachusetts? As one of the oldest cities in the United States, Boston has history everywhere you turn. This Fourth, listen to the Boston Pops Orchestra while watching the Fireworks at the Esplanade over the Charles River, or even hear the Declaration of Independence read from the balcony of the Old State House.

2) Orlando, Florida

Disney World is truly one of the happiest places in the world, and Fourth of July is no different. Orlando is packed the week of the fourth, and Disney is crowded with people ready to celebrate. Featuring live entertainment, and a spectacular firework display on both the 3rd and the 4th there is always something patriotic to see or do.

3) Boulder, Colorado

The Boulder Reservoir is one of the busiest spots for the Fourth of July. Take a swim, have a picnic, rent paddle boards for a water activity or wait until later for some beautiful bright fireworks. Whether you are celebrating with your friend or not, try the Colorado Music Festival or the Shakespear Festival both starting on the fourth.

4) Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Another extremely American city is Philadelphia, both the largest and capital of the U.S. there are plenty of things to do. Experience the Xfinity Fireworks at the Citizens Bank Park or hit the ball park and watch the Phillies play the Washington Nationals. 5) Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

Taking place next Wednesday, fireworks will begin at 10 p.m. and will be shot off over Lake Broadway at Broadway at the Beach for all to see. Looking to cool off? Grab your swimsuit and head over to Murrells Inlet where a boat parade begins at Garden City Point and goes past the Marshwalk. Another option is the annual Independence Day 5K Race.
