BOSTON, Mass. – Joshua Marc Hebert, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Magellan Jets, has been appointed to the Board of Directors for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Eastern Massachusetts. Big Brothers Big Sisters is the nation’s largest donor- and volunteer-supported mentoring network.
This appointment holds special significance for Hebert, whose relationship with Big Brothers Big Sisters began more than 30 years ago as a “Little” growing up in Worcester, Massachusetts. While fortunate to have the support of both parents, Hebert found added guidance and consistency through the organization when, at age ten, he was matched with his Big Brother — a relationship that became a defining influence in his life.
“Big Brothers Big Sisters didn’t just influence my childhood — it changed the trajectory of my life,” said Hebert. “Mentorship creates opportunities that many young people might never otherwise experience. I’ve seen firsthand how one committed adult can expand a child’s confidence, perspective, and belief in what’s possible. As I step into this role, I hope to help ensure that more children are matched with mentors who can make that same lasting impact. It’s a mission I care deeply about, and one I will continue to champion and support however I can.”
