Just how involved is our company leadership in safety standard-bearing? As announced via a press release on the ACSF website, our Chief Operating Officer, Todd Weeber, has been named as the new Air Charter Safety Foundation Chair.
The Air Charter Safety Foundation is a non-profit aviation safety organization headquartered in Washington, D.C., founded in 2008 to lead and support the advancement of the highest aviation safety standards. Magellan Jets was the first private jet broker in the world to be named to the ACSF. The foundation made the announcement welcoming changes to their staff and Board of Governors on July 5, 2022.
“I’m grateful for the opportunity to take on this leadership position and work together with our Executive Committee, Board of Governors and Advisory Board to continue to execute ACSF’s strategic and inclusive vision for the future of aviation safety,” Weeber said of his appointment as ACSF Board Chair.

The focus of Mr. Weeber’s 30 years of experience have been a relentless pursuit of process improvement, with the end goal of providing ideal experiences and optimal outcomes for clients. He has served in front-line and leadership roles at Trans States Airlines, Midway Airlines, and NetJets before joining Magellan Jets in 2017, and most recently served as President and Managing Partner of Weeber & Associates, an Operational Excellence consultancy focused on strategic leadership, the customer experience, and crisis management. Prior to his appointment as Chair of the ACSF Board of Governors, he served as Vice Chair.
The ACSF also announced the previous Chair, Robert Rufli, has been appointed to the newly created Director of Operations role, where he will maintain the ACSF Safety Management System Toolkit and support ACSF programs such as the Industry Audit Standard, Aviation Safety Action Program, and Flight Data Monitoring services.
Rounding out the new ACSF Board of Governors appointments are GrandView Aviation President Jessie Naor as Vice Chair and USAIG President John Brogan as Treasurer.
