Ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all jet card owners, pay-as-you-go members and on-demand charter clients is always the top priority for Magellan Jets, which is why we only work with top-rated operators vetted through the Magellan Jets Preferred Network (MJPN). This important framework was created to uphold Magellan Jets’ industry-leading standards, which go well beyond what’s required for keeping guests and crew healthy and safe. Learn more about the MJPN and how it enables us to select only the highest quality aircraft and providers.
What is the Magellan Jets Preferred Network?
The MJPN is a highly-selective, accredited network of premier operators that are thoroughly vetted by the Magellan Jets team. Since Magellan Jets does not own a fleet, our flight operations team works in tandem with the country’s top aircraft operators in order to ensure consistent, seamless travel and excellent service, as well as adherence to the highest standards for health, safety and sanitization.
Magellan Jets only works with the highest quality private jet partners to procure the safest equipment and most experienced flight crew, overseen by our Flight Support Department that’s fully staffed by FAA-certificated pilots, available 24/7, 365 days a year to provide support and help with any needs.
How does the MJPN Work?
At Magellan Jets, we arrange flights under Part 135 of the FAA safety standards, using only carefully curated aircraft and crews from the MJPN. For a private jet operator, joining the network requires meeting several rigorous standards for health, safety and service. All partners are actively monitored and reviewed by the Magellan Jets team to ensure operational and safety excellence, with an on-going auditing system in place that’s updated based on a variety of metrics, including customer feedback, so we can keep track of providers.
Thanks to our premier operating partners in the MJPN, we have access to in-depth records, as well as audits of every aircraft and crew used for Magellan Jets flights, allowing us to hand screen and thoroughly review all pilot and personnel involved. Operators must also follow Magellan Jets’ strict COVID-19 health and safety protocols under our 5 X 5 PureSky Safety Standard, in addition to meeting all requirements under the 42-point safety inspection checklist used for every flight. If an operator does not meet these standards, they are removed as a preferred partner and are no longer actively used to service flights until they show adherence to MJPN protocols.
Overall, the MJPN provides the Magellan Jets Sourcing team with broader access to high quality aircraft and flight crews, which in turn, offers guests more choices and flexibility. Regardless of your mission or whether you need a turbo prop plane or large business jet, the MJPN allows us to provide excellent service globally, 365 days a year, with no network blackout dates.
What Criteria Are Considered?
All operators must meet several strict criteria in order to be an accredited member of the MJPN, This includes being in good standing with third-party standards organizations such as ARG/US and Wyvern, as well as adherence to Magellan Jets’ health and safety protocols.
MJPN operators must also meet maintenance of insurance requirements and have high standards in place for aircraft and crew quality, as a pre-flight review of assigned crew is performed prior to every leg flown. Other criteria include whether a partner’s core values align with Magellan Jets’ values, communication and service excellence, and more.
