How does the MJPN Work?
At Magellan Jets, we arrange flights under Part 135 of the FAA safety standards, using only carefully curated aircraft and crews from the MJPN. For a private jet operator, joining the network requires meeting several rigorous standards for health, safety and service. All partners are actively monitored and reviewed by the Magellan Jets team to ensure operational and safety excellence, with an on-going auditing system in place that’s updated based on a variety of metrics, including customer feedback, so we can keep track of providers.
Thanks to our premier operating partners in the MJPN, we have access to in-depth records, as well as audits of every aircraft and crew used for Magellan Jets flights, allowing us to hand screen and thoroughly review all pilot and personnel involved. Operators must also follow Magellan Jets’ strict COVID-19 health and safety protocols under our 5 X 5 PureSky Safety Standard, in addition to meeting all requirements under the 42-point safety inspection checklist used for every flight. If an operator does not meet these standards, they are removed as a preferred partner and are no longer actively used to service flights until they show adherence to MJPN protocols.

What Criteria Are Considered?
All operators must meet several strict criteria in order to be an accredited member of the MJPN, This includes being in good standing with third-party standards organizations such as ARG/US and Wyvern, as well as adherence to Magellan Jets’ health and safety protocols.
MJPN operators must also meet maintenance of insurance requirements and have high standards in place for aircraft and crew quality, as a pre-flight review of assigned crew is performed prior to every leg flown.
