BOSTON, MA. – February 15, 2011 – On Monday, February 14, 2011, private jet company, Magellan Jets proudly sponsored the 2nd Annual Celebrity Golf Tournament to Benefit Wing and a Prayer Foundation. The tournament took place at Isleworth Golf and Country Club, located in Windermere, FL. Preceding the tournament, Wing and a Prayer held a Gala Dinner event at Isleworth on Sunday, February 13. The Gala began with a meet and greet followed by a cocktail hour. After this, guests enjoyed a wonderful meal which was accompanied by a presentation on the Foundation.

On Monday May 4th, Magellan Jets will be sponsoring a number of holes at the First Annual Freedom Classic on New Jersey’s new course, Liberty National Golf Course. The course recently opened, it contains 18 glorious holes with a beautiful view of the New York skyline and the Statue of Liberty. Magellan Jets will be sponsoring the 2nd hole and if any of the 80 amateurs playing should hit a hole in one on this 196 yard par 3 hole, they will win a 95,000 dollar Voyager Card towards future trips with Magellan Jets. On the other three par threes Magellan Jets will be offering prizes from plasma screen televisions to a new set of golf clubs for hole in one winners. Magellan Jets (the Air Charter Broker) acting as an “Authorized Agent” for the Program Member (Charterer) shall; maintain non-owned aircraft liability insurance, and personal injury coverage, contract for transportation services with only FAR Part 135 or 121 Direct Air Carriers or their foreign Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) equivalent that operate and exercise full operational control over those flights at all times. Magellan Jets does not own or operate aircraft nor is a direct or indirect carrier. Flights will be sourced through a proprietary Magellan Jets Preferred Network of Direct Air Carriers that meet all FAA or CAA safety standards and additional safety standards established by Magellan Jets.Magellan Jets does provide access to aircraft management services which are provided by FAR Part 135 and 91 Direct Carriers or their foreign Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) equivalent that manage the full or partial operation of the aircraft on behalf of the Owner (Aircraft owner) and exercise full operational control of all flights at all times.
