Job Type: Full-Time
Aviation Experience: Preferred
The Aircraft Scheduling Specialist’s primary function is to procure aircraft for Magellan Jets’ clients by communicating with plane operators to receive quotes, negotiate prices, ensure compliance with Magellan’s safety standards, and selecting the best aircraft for the client mission. Coordinate with external vendors and other internal departments internally (Flight Support, Sales, Accounting) to support efficient aircraft operations for Part 135 operations. Work directly with fellow Operations and Sales staff to meet or exceed gross profit margins and maintain customer satisfaction.
Adherence to established processes, standard operating procedures, delivery of aircraft options in a timely manner, and relationship management are key to the role. The Scheduling Department drives the development of relationships, optimization of aircraft, the sales of empty legs, and the mitigation of cancellation costs.
Potential to cross-train into Fleet Management within the Scheduling Department.
