As a Content Writer at Magellan Jets, you will play an essential role on the marketing team and help us enhance our website, advertising campaigns and overall content messaging. With our client personas in focus, you will write a wide variety of topics for multiple platforms (website, blogs, articles, social media, banners, case studies, guides, white papers, ads, sales collateral, etc.) You will conduct thorough research on industry-related topics and collaborate with other departments and customers to generate ideas for new content types. This role assumes an understanding of the technical side of SEO and best practices – maintaining a keyword portfolio of highly competitive keywords, appropriate placement and formatting of keywords in the copy and within the code to be easily picked up by search engines, maintaining the keyword density, keywords in titles, etc. The technical side of SEO means you understand the role that navigation and site architecture play in enhancing crawlability. As the Content/SEO Writer, you will continuously research new keywords and collect feedback to help you write the copy to increase our organic website traffic.
This role reports to the Sr Director of Marketing and is based out of our Quincy, MA headquarters. We require submissions of published writing samples and examples of unique content creation (whitepapers, case studies, blog posts, landing pages, etc). If you’re familiar with producing online content and have an eye for detail, we’d like to meet you.
