General FAQs

Magellan Jets has been privately owned and operated by it’s 3 founders – Joshua Hebert, Anthony Tivnan, & Gregory Belezarian, since 2008. We are 100% debt-free and asset-light, ensuring that the dollars you spend are used exclusively to provide the highest quality private flight experience possible.

Magellan Jets is headquartered in Quincy, Massachusetts, with a private terminal in Bedford, Massachusetts. The team has flown Private Clients to more than 100 countries since 2008.

No. Magellan Jets is an asset-light private aviation solutions provider, sourcing the ideal aircraft for every mission from the Magellan Jets Preferred Network. This approach eliminates fleet-utilization conflicts and ensures each recommendation is based solely on client needs.

Asset-light means Magellan Jets does not own or operate aircraft. Instead, the company curates access to fewer than 100 rigorously vetted operators out of more than 3,000 licensed in the U.S., delivering unbiased aircraft selection, zero debt, and fully protected client funds.

Magellan Jets offers carbon offsetting as an add-on for Jet Card holders. The Preferred Network’s operators are continuously monitored for compliance, and the asset-light model reduces unnecessary repositioning flights by matching the right aircraft to each journey.

Safety FAQs

Your health and safety are our top priority. Every aircraft is sourced from the Magellan Jets Preferred Network, which holds operators to enhanced safety and experience standards that far exceed FAA minimums. The operations team monitors every journey in real time, and Captains within the network average 9,700+ flight hours.

The Preferred Network is an exclusive group of fewer than 100 operators selected from more than 3,000 licensed in the U.S. Each operator undergoes independent safety audits, carries $100M-$300M in liability insurance, and is continuously monitored for compliance.

Operators must meet WYVERN Wingman-level safety criteria and pass rigorous vetting before admission. Magellan Jets is the only private aviation company on the Air Charter Safety Foundation Board, where leadership has held the Chairman seat for more than six years, setting the standards the Preferred Network upholds.
