Try It Before You Buy It
Between June 24 and August 31, 2026, prospective Fractional Owners can charter the Bombardier Challenger 850, the aircraft at the center of the Magellan Jets Fractional Ownership program, as an “experience flight” before purchasing a fractional share. Clients who complete the flight and purchase a fractional share within 60 days receive a credit equal to the full invoiced cost of the flight, up to $50,000, applied toward their first year of management fees.

The program is tailored for private aviation clients originating in the Northeast and Southeast United States, with routes spanning the U.S., Canada, and the Caribbean. The Challenger 850’s spacious interior and premium amenities make the ideal solution for business travelers seeking productivity, families prioritizing privacy and comfort, and musicians and athletes that require extra luggage storage.
Each Challenger 850 is divided into four 12.5% shares, leaving 50% of the aircraft’s time unallocated. This approach provides Fractional Owners with guaranteed jet access. With a fleet of 34 Challenger 850s, our Private Clients never have to worry about access.
At the end of your 3-year term, Magellan Jets guarantees a residual buyback at 60% of your original share value. This provides a clear financial backstop and eliminates the uncertainty of reselling on the open market.
The flight service area was carefully selected based on high-demand Client locations to ensure operational efficiency and seamless travel experiences. While we cannot share specific expansion plans at this time, we are committed to reviewing Client demand and operational feasibility to evolve our offerings and meet travel needs as they arise.
All Fractional Ownership flights are operated by Slate Aviation under FAA Part 91K certification. Slate Aviation is a vetted member of the Magellan Jets Preferred Network. Magellan Jets serves as your trusted advisor and program architect, coordinating every aspect of the Client Experience while Slate Aviation manages flight operations.
*Open to new prospective fractional clients only; no prior or existing Magellan Jets fractional interest is permitted, and this offer is limited to one Experience Flight per client or household regardless of the number of fractional shares purchased. The Experience Flight must be booked through a Magellan Jets sales or client experience representative on the Challenger 850 (Slate Aviation prime tail) and completed in full; cancelled or incomplete flights do not qualify, and the flight is subject to availability of that aircraft. Experience Flights must be booked and completed between June 24 and August 31, 2026. The credit equals the actual invoiced charter cost, up to $50,000, and is applied to Year 1 management fees upon execution of a qualifying fractional agreement (minimum 12.5% share); it has no cash value, is non-transferable, and may not be combined with other offers. Prospective participants have 60 calendar days from the date of the completed Experience Flight to execute a qualifying fractional agreement and fund the full acquisition price; this window cannot be extended or reset. Magellan Jets reserves the right to verify eligibility and to modify or discontinue this program for prospective participants; existing registered participants will be honored under the terms in effect at time of booking. Participation constitutes acceptance of these terms.
