After a private transfer to The Sanctuary, Kiawah’s premier luxury resort, you’ll settle in and enjoy welcome cocktails and a Journey briefing. This elegant coastal retreat sets the tone for the championship-caliber golf and refined hospitality to follow.

Your first round takes place on the iconic Ocean Course, host of the 1991 Ryder Cup. With wind, ocean views, and unforgettable holes, it’s the perfect introduction to your multi-state golf adventure. In the afternoon, you may opt for a replay round or enjoy time at the spa or beach before taking an evening flight north to Rochester, New York, where you’ll spend the night.

After golf, you’ll fly to Boston and check into The Newbury or a similar luxury property for the night, preparing for the next day’s challenge.

The Country Club

Today you’ll play The Country Club in Brookline, host of the dramatic 1999 Ryder Cup. The historic course offers strategic play and timeless New England charm. If access is limited or time allows, an upscale public course can serve as a high-quality alternative for an optional afternoon round. That evening, you’ll fly to Chicago and settle into accommodations such as The Langham.

Medinah and Whistling Straits

Your morning round takes place at Medinah No. 3, the stage of the thrilling 2012 Ryder Cup, renowned for its pristine conditioning and championship pedigree. In the afternoon, you’ll take a short flight to Wisconsin for a twilight round at Whistling Straits, Irish Course, before checking into The American Club in Kohler for the night.

Whistling Straits and Minneapolis

You’ll play the famed Straits Course at Whistling Straits, host of the 2021 Ryder Cup and known for its rugged dunes and dramatic lakeside setting. After your round, you may enjoy Kohler’s renowned spa before flying to Minneapolis for the evening and checking into the Hotel Ivy or similar accommodations.

Minneapolis to Michigan

Your morning golf takes place at Hazeltine National, the host of the 2016 Ryder Cup, offering a bold test of skill across a sprawling championship layout. If time allows, a high-quality public course may serve as an optional afternoon round before you fly to the Detroit area. You’ll stay in Birmingham at The Townsend or comparable luxury hotel.

Michigan to Louisville

In the morning, you’ll play Oakland Hills South, the iconic venue of the 2004 Ryder Cup, with an optional round on the North Course available if schedule permits.
