How do I choose an aircraft?
The specific aircraft and category that’s the right fit for you will depend on a number of factors, including how often you will use your jet card membership, where you’ll go, and what these trips will be used for. Fortunately, we have many private aviation options to choose from at Magellan Jets, so you’re sure to find the right fit for you and your specific needs, be they for the purpose of business or leisure.

What is the peak travel surcharge?
At Magellan Jets, nothing you need to worry about. Other jet membership programs charge a premium for private aviation travel on popular dates, such as holidays or long weekends. We don’t implement peak-day pricing; your Elevate membership allows you to travel on high-volume and low-volume days alike. We simply ask for 7-days booking notice for travel on those days.
Does Magellan Jets offer a jet card membership?
Yes, we offer various several jet-specific memberships under the Elevate membership umbrella. All jet memberships come with a satisfaction guarantee, no peak, no blackout days and no interchange fees.
How do I decide between charter flights and a jet membership?
Those who frequently turn to private aviation for their business or leisure travel needs may wonder which is a better fit: chartering flights or purchasing a membership.
There are benefits to either private aviation method; for example, chartering a flight gives you the ability to pay as you go, on an as-needed basis, rather than purchasing a chunk of flight time up front. This works well for the price-conscious, those who have one-off trips, or those who own their own aircraft but occasionally need to supplement their travel. On the other hand, for frequent flyers, jet card memberships like Elevate may be a better fit. Purchasing a membership gives travelers the ability to purchase flight time in hourly increments.

What if my plans change and I need to switch aircraft?
No problem. In our Membership, we can accommodate any private aviation request outside of 72-hours prior to your departure date. The ability to interchange aircraft without accruing additional costs comes standard with an Elevate Membership.
Can Magellan Jets get me to Europe?
Yes–but Magellan Jets can fly you even further than Europe. You can fly with Magellan Jets globally, to nearly any destination in the world. Many of our private aviation customers fly internationally on a regular basis; in fact, our international travel usage has increased 143% just between 2018 to 2019.
